    Burnette is being recruited by D1 schools too. He's at least as good as Phillips plus you know Maryville's supporting cast is better than Curt's. Burnette's regular season stat line, 146 for 217, 67% Completions, 2201 yards, 23 TD's and only 5 picks.

    His team is far better than Curt's that's why I said I agreed with you that Maryville would win. Curt has 7-8 D1 scholarship offers to Burnette's 0 though. That's very telling. Being recruited and getting offers is totally different.

    Ok, Burnette is a more polished passer is what I'm trying to say. Running is a big part of Curt's game.

    Yep, Curt is good no doubt but Maryville is a whole different animal. 50 some game winning streak and probably the best coach in Tennessee. IMO if South does make it that far, Curt better practice picking himself up off the ground cause South's line can't handle the Maryville pass rush.
